Crazy Horse Leather
Crazy Horse leather is a vegetable tanned cow leather with an oil finish. Vegetable tanning is the process where leather is tanned with natural materials such as tree bark and other natural agents, giving the finished leather a natural color. Oil tanning involves the application of oil during the tanning process, which increases the hide's elasticity and makes the finished product more resistant to scratching and fading. It also leaves the leather with a smooth, slightly "oily" finish, creating a polished, attractive effect on accessories and handbags.
Characteristics
Crazy horse leather is durable, strong, and of course, it gives a unique look and feel which combines luxury and antique touch. With the wax applied to the leather, it protects the leather with water resistance and makes it more durable.
Since the crazy horse leather is entirely made out of by applying a wax to the full-grain leather, there are many varieties of color choices available. We have many different colors available in our collections.
